Context
Section titled “Context”ADR-016 was skipped during the initial creation of the ADR sequence. This stub preserves the numbering audit trail per ADR best practices — gaps in numbering should be documented rather than silently ignored.
For the record: the number was originally earmarked for a “Badge Component” ADR (ADRs 017 and 018 cited it in advance), but that record was never written — the Badge atom’s design is covered by the atomic-design rules in ADR-003. The advance citations in 017/018 were corrected on 2026-07-05.
Decision
Section titled “Decision”This number is reserved. If a decision needs to be documented that logically fits between ADR-015 and ADR-017, this number should be used.
